Vahram Ter-Matevosyan specializes in Turkish domestic and foreign policy, Regional Security and Conflicts in the post-Soviet Space. He has received his Dr. Philosophy Degree from the University of Bergen (Norway), Master\u2019s degree from Lund University (Sweden), Candidate of historical sciences degree from the Institute of Oriental Studies and Yerevan State University (Armenia). He was Visiting Professor at Duke University, NC (2016), Fulbright Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, CA (2009-2010) and Visiting Doctoral Student at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA (2005). He authored an award-winning monograph \u201cIslam in the Social and Political Life of Turkey, 1970-2001\u201d in 2008 and co-authored \u201cHistory of Turkish Republic\u201d in 2014. His research articles have been published in \u201cNations and Nationalism\u201d, \u201cEurope-Asia Studies\u201d, \u201cTurkish Studies\u201d, \u201cMiddle Eastern Studies\u201d, \u201cInsight Turkey\u201d, \u201cEurasian Geography and Economics\u201d, \u201cTurkish Review\u201d, \u201cCaucasus Survey\u201d, \u201cJournal of Southeast European and Black Sea Studies\u201d, \u201cIran and the Caucasus\u201d, \u201cDiaspora Studies\u201d, \u201c\u00c9tudes Arm\u00e9niennes Contemporaines\u201d, and \u201cCaucasus Analytical Digest\u201d.<\/span>  <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
